This policy explains what personal data Surrey Social Media collects through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it. Surrey Social Media is a trading name of Telsa UK Ltd, Telsa Media House, 90 Stafford Road, Wallington, Surrey SM6 9AY.

What we collect

We only collect what you type into one of our enquiry forms. Depending on which form you use, that is:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number, if you choose to give it (optional)
• The subject or service you selected
• Whatever you write in the message field

Our server also records the IP address the enquiry was sent from and the date and time it was submitted. We use this only to investigate spam and abuse.

We do not use analytics, advertising pixels or tracking scripts on this website. We do not build profiles of visitors, and we do not track you across other sites.

Why we collect it, and our lawful basis

We use your details for one thing: to reply to your enquiry and, if you go on to become a client, to deliver the work. Our lawful basis under UK GDPR is legitimate interests — you contacted us and expect a reply — and, where you become a client, performance of a contract.

We will not add you to a marketing list on the strength of an enquiry, we will not sell your data, and we will not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Who else can see it

Enquiries are delivered to us by email and are readable by our team and by our email and web hosting providers, who process the data on our behalf.

This site loads its typeface from Google Fonts. Because the font files are requested from Google's servers, your browser's IP address is visible to Google when a page loads. No other third party receives data from this site.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for our own business records afterwards. If you would like your details deleted sooner, just ask.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we are using it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within one month.

If you are not happy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
